Video Editor (Contractor)

The Thomistic Institute is hiring a video editor as a contractor to support the creation of short-form social media posts for Instagram reels and YouTube shorts. This role includes creating 3-7 reels per month, with hours ranging from 6-10 hours per month.

Responsibilities:

• Ideation and creation of Instagram reels
• Coordination with the Thomistic Institute’s Marketing and Content Manager for content ideas, feedback, etc.
• Responding to and making edits based on feedback given for editing style and content
• Staying up to date with social media trends, making use of trending audio
• Adhering to the Thomistic Institute’s brand and the teachings of the Catholic Church in all content
• Frequent and prompt communication with the Thomistic Institute’s employees
• Ensure timeliness and meet social media calendar deadlines
