WASHINGTON, DC, October 28, 2025 – The Thomistic Institute has launched a new website that brings its mission into sharper focus: helping those at the contemporary university and in the wider public square encounter a tradition of wisdom.
Designed from the ground up, the website features a clean, modern interface that helps visitors easily navigate to dive into learning through digital offerings, get involved with programs such as campus chapters, or register for conferences, retreats, and more.
“The Thomistic Institute has experienced tremendous growth in the past few years. We now have over 100 chapters, including chapters on three continents. That means more talks, more events, and, crucially, more students and alumni attending conferences, joining retreats, and otherwise getting involved with the TI,” said Fr. Ambrose Little, O.P., director of the Thomistic Institute.
“But with that dramatic growth came a problem: how to properly reflect the scope of our in-person and online offerings. Our old website was struggling to do that, so, inspired by the success of the Aquinas 101 learning platform, we decided to build a new one. For the millions of people searching for answers to life’s most pressing questions, our new website invites them into that search with clarity, confidence, and — I hope — beauty.”
The homepage now welcomes visitors to “Discover a living tradition of reason, faith, and clarity.” Thoughtful navigation allows users to find what they need in fewer clicks. Students can easily search for their local campus chapter. Lifelong learners can dive right into multimedia, including a growing catalog of high-quality lectures and digital content. Supporters can deepen the Institute’s impact through monthly, quarterly, or one-time gifts.
With mobile-responsive design and prominent calls to action such as “Start exploring” and “Join a program,” the redesign supports a wide range of visitors: newcomers, scholars, clergy, donors, and anyone seeking wisdom.
“We live in a world that seems to have lost its way. Stripped of meaning, we wander, bicker, and turn to sin. Young people in particular struggle with what they perceive as a bleak reality—a society in which there seems to be no objective truth. As they wrestle with life’s biggest questions, the Thomistic Institute reveals that the answers they seek actually exist,” said Fr. Ambrose Little.
The launch introduces a refined version of the Thomistic Institute’s shield. While maintaining continuity with the familiar design, the updated shield more closely aligns with Dominican heraldry. The interior cross features lilies symbolizing St. Dominic, founder of the Order of Preachers. The rising sun behind the shield reflects the iconography of St. Thomas Aquinas, who “brings the light of learning into the minds of men and fires their hearts and wills with the virtues” (Studiorum Ducem).
