What Counts as a Reason?

Our Thomistic Circle conference aims to examine and to develop the titular question: “What Counts as Reason?” Not what specific reasons count in reasoning, but more essentially, what counts as Reason itself? What are the boundaries and limits of Reason? What are the sources and structures of Reason? What is Reason anyways? Answers to these and related questions exemplify the continuity between Scholasticism and postmodernity making the revival of Scholasticism more of a development of as opposed to a retreat from postmodernity.
