About the speaker:

Prof. Brandon Vaidyanathan received his PhD in Sociology from the University of Notre Dame, and he is now the Chair of the CUA Department of Sociology. He is an adult Catholic convert, and he has told his conversion story on EWTN's Coming Home Program. He has an extensive and well-regarded publication record, including 2 books published by Cambridge and Oxford university presses. Prof. Vaidyanathan is also the recipient of several prestigious grants from external foundations like the John Templeton Foundation, and he has a forthcoming book on the "Beauty and Science" topic.
