About the speaker:
Fr. John Harris, O.P. serves as the prior provincial for the Dominican Province of Ireland. He began his studies at the Dominican Studium at St. Mary's Priory, Tallaght, Ireland. Fr. John earned his STL from the Angelicum and wrote a thesis entitled The Laity: The Church in Politics (1992). His dissertation in completion of his STD in 2004 is titled Ethics in Constitutional Law: A Theological Reflection on the Preamble to the Irish Constitution under the direction fo Fr. Wojciech Giertych, O.P. (Theologian of the Papal Household).
