About the speaker:

Douglas Farrow is Professor of Theology and Ethics at McGill University in Montreal. He received his PhD from King’s College London, where he afterwards lectured in theology before taking up his post at McGill. Among his books are Ascension Theology, Desiring a Better Country, Theological Negotiations, and the Brazos Theological Commentary on 1 & 2 Thessalonians. Professor Farrow, who received a Queen Elizabeth II Diamond Jubilee medal for his contributions to public discourse on social issues and a Cardinal Wright Award from the Fellowship of Catholic Scholars, writes actively at douglasfarrow.substack.com and is a contributing editor at Touchstone. His articles have also appeared in First Things and The Catholic World Report, as in various Oxford handbooks and in academic journals such as Nova et Vetera and Communio.
