About the speaker:

Conor McDonough, OP is a Dominican friar of the Irish Province. He studied science and theology at the University of Cambridge and taught theology at secondary school before joining the Dominicans in 2009. He was ordained priest in 2016 and undertook further studies in theology at the University of Fribourg (Switzerland), focussing on the writings of St Thomas Aquinas and John Calvin. He is currently based in Galway where he is engaged in doctoral research on early Irish Christianity.
