About the Speaker:

T. Adam Van Wart, PhD is Associate Professor of Theology at Ave Maria University. He has published articles in Modern Theology, The New Ressourcement, Pro Ecclesia, and Nova et Vetera in addition to being the author of Neither Nature nor Grace (CUAP, 2020). In recognition of his work at the intersection of philosophy and theology, the Academy of Catholic Theology awarded Dr. Van Wart the Koterski Research Fellowship for Philosophy in Theology (2022). His areas of expertise include Christology, the development of doctrine, “mystery” as a theological category, theological appropriations of analytic philosophy, ecumenism, late medieval scholastic theology, and theological anthropology.
