About the speaker:
Joshua C. Benson has been a professor of Theology at the Catholic University of America since 2008. Dr. Benson focuses his research on Franciscan figures in the middle ages and some of the theologians who influenced them, like Hugh of St. Victor and Stephen Langton. He has also published on the 20th century poet and convert to Catholicism, Robert Lax. He teaches classes on a wide range of theological issues and historical figures.
