About the speaker:
Richard Kim is an associate professor of philosophy at Loyola University Chicago. He received his BA from UCLA and PhD in philosophy from the University of Notre Dame. He specializes in ethics, moral psychology, and East Asian philosophy. He is currently working on the topics of virtue, ritual, flourishing, and human nature from Confucian and Thomistic perspectives. He is the author of a book, Confucianism and the Philosophy of Well-Being (Routledge, 2020) and over a dozen essays.
