About the speaker:
Marcus Paulo Rycembel Boeira is an Associate Professor and researcher at UFRGS (Federal University of Rio Grande do Sul). He is a PhD and Master's degree holder from USP (University of São Paulo) and a member of the SIEPM (Société Internationale pour l'Étude de la Philosophie Médiévale) and the SBEFM (Brazilian Society for the Study of Medieval Philosophy).
He currently coordinates a research project focused on the investigation and cataloging of Logic and Dialectic manuscripts held in the Vatican Library archives and the Archivio Storico of the Pontificia Università Gregoriana (formerly the Library of the Collegio Romano). Permanent member of the Gruppo di Ricerca Filosofia Sociale (Pontificia Università Gregoriana, Rome). In addition, Boeira serves as a leader of the CNPq Research Group: Deontic Logic, Language, and Law.
