Join other Thomistic Institute young professionals for an Intellectual Retreat!
This retreat provides the opportunity to attend talks about hope, participate in Mass, attend Eucharistic Adoration, pray the Divine Office with the Dominican community, and attend socials with other retreatants and friars throughout the weekend. Additionally, this retreat fulfills the requirements for a Jubilee Indulgence!
There is a fee to attend: If you are commuting, the fee is $50. If you would like to stay in the TI lodging, there is an extra $50 fee ($100 total).
Schedule:
Begins with check-in from 5:00 - 6:00 pm on Friday, September 12
Concludes after lunch at 1:30 pm on Sunday, September 14
Speakers:
Fr. Greogry Pine, O.P. (Thomistic Institute) is an instructor of dogmatic and moral theology at the Dominican House of Studies and an Assistant Director of the Thomistic Institute. He holds a doctorate from the University of Fribourg (Switzerland). He is the co-author of Credo: An RCIA Program and Marian Consecration with Aquinas as well as the author of Prudence: Choose Confidently, Live Boldly. His writing also appears in Aleteia, Magnificat, and Ascension’s Catholic Classics series. He is a regular contributor to the podcasts Pints with Aquinas, Catholic Classics, The Thomistic Institute, and Godsplaining.
Dr. R. J. Snell (Witherspoon Institute) is Editor-in-Chief of Public Discourse and Director of Academic Programs at the Witherspoon Institute in Princeton, NJ. He has been a visiting instructor at Princeton University, where he is also executive director of the Aquinas Institute for Catholic Life. He's written books and articles on Natural Law, Education, Bernard Lonergan, Boredom, Subjectivity, and Sexual Ethics for a variety of publications.
