For the Life in the Cosmos conference, go here.

Dominican House of Studies | Washington, D.C.

This retreat is offered for any current university students. Retreatants will attend the Thomistic Institute’s fall Thomistic Circles conference, where they’ll consider questions like what is life? How did biological life arise? What makes life persist and might it exist elsewhere in the cosmos? What would that mean? Learn more about the conference here.

Thanks to the generosity of our benefactors, this retreat is offered free of charge, including room and board. Retreatants are only responsible for the cost of getting to Washington, D.C., though some travel scholarships may be available. Their experience of the conference will be framed by the traditional elements of a retreat (Mass, adoration, the Divine Office, etc.). It begins on Friday, Oct. 14 and concludes on Sunday, Oct. 16.
