Of the Father’s Love Begotten: An Intellectual Retreat on the Incarnation

This retreat, offered for 20-25 participants from the Thomistic Institute’s Texas-area campus chapters, provides the opportunity to contemplate the mystery of Our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, true God and true Man. In addition to a series of lectures offered by the speakers, participants will join the friars of the Dominican House of Studies at Mass and in praying the Liturgy of the Hours. Opportunities for Eucharistic Adoration and Confession will also be available. Participants will stay in housing provided by the Thomistic Institute just a short walk from the House of Studies. All meals will be provided on-site at the House of Studies.

Schedule:

  • Begins with check-in at 2:00 p.m. on Friday, December 17th

  • Concludes with check-out at 2:00 p.m. on Sunday, December 19th
