About the Event:
"Everybody talks about church reform nowadays, particularly in the wake of the abuse scandals. Yet, hardly anybody reflects on what reform actually means. Can everything be ‘reformed’ or changed? Is doctrine up for grabs? Is Catholic reform different from the Protestant understanding of ‘reform’ and ‘Reformation,' and if so, why? Based on church history, Dr. Lehner will try to answer these and other questions about the state of the church today."
