Thomistic Philosophy and the Modern Sciences
A seminar on modern science and Thomistic philosophy, this event will bring together expert scientists and philosophers to discuss the potential compatibility and mutual enrichment of the study of Aquinas' philosophy of nature and various forms of modern scientific knowledge in physics, biology and neuroscience.
The seminar will take place in Washington, DC, June 5th - 8th 2018. Room and board at Theological College will be provided for accepted participants through the generosity of the Thomistic Institute and the Society of Catholic Scientists.
Graduate students and advanced undergraduates in the sciences or philosophy who are interested in attending the symposium should submit an application. Special invitations applications are accepted through January 28th. General application begins January 29th.
