About the speaker:

Bernhard Blankenhorn is professor aggregatus in the faculty of theology at the Angelicum in Rome. He was born in Jülich, Germany (near Aachen) in 1973. He is a Dominican friar and was ordained to the priesthood in 2006. He studied at the Dominican School of Philosophy & Theology in Berkeley, California as well as the Dominican studium in Toulouse, France. He completed his doctorate at the University of Fribourg in Switzerland, under the direction of Gilles Emery. Since 2013, he has been teaching at the Angelicum.
